Now, let's get to work.
First, what you will need to make this simple dish at home:
- 15 Chicken wings
- 4 Tablespoons of Korean Gochujang (Chill Paste)
- 6 Tablespoons of ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon of minced garlic
- 5 Tablespoons of honey
- 2 Tablespoon of Stevia (or Sugar)
- 2 Tablespoon of soy sauce (I usually go for the "Low-sodium" one)
- 1 Cup of water
- 1 Tablespoon of sesame seeds
Let's go now!
1. Wash the raw chicken wings well
2. Add ground black pepper to raw chicken wings and toss it well (you can also add some milk)
3. Let the chicken sit for at least 30 minutes (this will remove any smell)
4. Bake the marinated chicken wings in air fryer (30 minutes at 356°F/180°C)
5. Mix the ingredients to make the sauce
6. Boil the sauce to simmer (it will become a bit thicker)
7. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken wings
8. Toss the chicken wings in the sauce
9. Sprinkle sesame seeds on finished chicken wings (optional)
10. Serve & enjoy!
